Good Bye 2014

    2015 is just a few hours away, and I'm dreading the second it arrives, not wanting to suffer through that three month struggle of having to erase all of my dates on my school papers every time I write the wrong year. I swear, every year when I finally get used to writing the current date on my headings, the year suddenly changes again... Why must my life be so difficult?
    So 2014 was a big year. I met and got closer to some amazing people, I traveled to different countries, I came up with a pretty amazing story idea that I've been writing and building for the past nine months, and, most importantly, I started this blog! But this year also had its downs. I didn't get to read and write as much as I wanted to. Then there was the rocky transition of moving once again. In July, I had to leave my friends (well most of them already left me…) at our tiny military base in South Korea and had to move back to America to some foreign state I've never been to. It's been pretty rough, especially because I'd been living in a foreign country for three years and had finally adjusted, but it's something I've been getting used to. I started attending my new school, and even though its not the best, I'm pushing through and have even started talking to some new people (social victory!). I had also joined a travel soccer team despite physical and emotional struggle. I'm still keeping in touch with my old friends, I'm really glad I was born in the time period of texting and emails because, God, sending letters all over the world would be a hassle. And though I'm going to move yet again in another year, I'm going to try my best to make life in this new place the best it can be in 2015.
   Well, now seems to be the time to say goodbye this year and hello to the next, so happy New Years everyone! I hope you all will enjoy 2015!
