After years (Long Story) of being unable to put an eager foot into my heaven, Barnes and Noble, I have recently made the joyful trip. I walked in hyperventilating with a massive smile, then exploded like a grenade and pranced around the isles, snatching a great abundance books with familiar titles and carrying them in my book-loving arms until a B&N employee approached cautiously with a basket (ok… the prancing was a bit over exaggerated, but everything else actually happened). Then, after the passing of an hour, did I realize that I, being unemployed except for an occasional babysitting job, did not have the money to purchase the extensive amount of books tugging my arm down like a weight. I gave into my reasoning and sorted through what I had gathered and left Barnes and Noble with seven books and minimum dollars traveling lightly in my Deathly Hallows backpack which I was saving for my own macbook before this adventure.
I arrived back at my grandparents' house and added my new purchases to my other slightly new purchase of two books from What The Book and other books I had brought with me to my grandma and grandpa's house. Then, a few days later, I added three more books I had received from the library as an award for the Teens Summer Reading Program.
So, as you probably have guessed, I will be showing you my tower of books.
From Barnes and Noble:
I have already read three of these books since I bought them last week. These books include Thirteen Reasons Why, The Shadowhunter's Codex, and The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. I am also currently reading both If I Stay and The Assassin's Blade.
From What The Book:
I have read An Abundance of Katherines since its purchase and the journey of the 'Long Story'.
From The Summer Reading Program:
I have yet to read any of these, seeing as I received them about two days ago.
So, that is it for this book haul! I guess now I should go on to explain this 'Long Story'. This 'Long Story' isn't really long, I mean it took place over the matter of three years but it isn't hard to explain. For three years I have been living in Seoul, South Korea because of my dad's job in the military, but now we are in the process of moving and are back in America and will remain here hopefully until I finish High School.
Yeah… I'm not good at wrapping things up, am I? Well… bye… for now… :)
